01 / THE BASE GAME

OWN CALL OF DUTY 4.

You need your own PC copy of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007). A Steam copy works. The Resurgence launcher does not include the base game or a standalone game build.

02 / MULTIPLAYER CLIENT

SET UP COD4X.

Install a working CoD4X multiplayer client using the official instructions. Read the version guidance there if your Steam multiplayer installation needs preparation.

03 / SERVER CONTENT

GET THE LAUNCHER.

Download the Windows launcher, extract the ZIP, and keep launcher.json beside DeathrunLauncher.exe. Select your COD4 folder in the launcher and let it synchronize the server’s mod and maps.

04 / JOIN THE RUN

CONNECT & PLAY.

Use the launcher’s join option. You can also open the CoD4 multiplayer console and enter:

/connect play.resurgencedeathrun.com:28960

Let the map finish loading. Join the Jumpers team and follow the course while the Activator controls the traps.

HAVING TROUBLE CONNECTING?

Check that CoD4X launches correctly and that the launcher has finished syncing. Restart multiplayer after a mod update. If you still get an error, save the exact message and map name for a bug report.
